Prosser Wilbert Construction served as the general contractor for the City of Clay Center’s new aquatic park. The project included the demolition of the old swimming pool and construction of a new facility.
The facility has over 12,00 square foot of water surface, including a lap pool, two plunge areas, zero depth entry, shallow play area, toddler play area, diving well and a lazy river. Play features include a 32” speed body slide, 54” open flume raft slide and a 8’ wide family slide. Diving well features a 1M and 3M diving boards.
This project also included the construction of a new bathhouse with concessions, an office, restrooms, showers, pump/filter room and a chlorine/chemical room. Site improvements including sidewalks, curbs, gutter and landscaping were also included in the project.
